De-aromatised white spirits

(Boiling range 135–280 °C)

De-aromatised white spirits are mixtures of paraffinic and naphthenic hydrocarbons. By using suitable raw materials and hydrogenation processes, we are able to produce these products without any odour. The high naphthenic content is what gives DHC de-aromatised white spirits their increased solvating power.

Primary applications/processes:

  • Solvents for various natural and synthetic resins, including alkyd resins and epoxy resin esters
  • Solvents for printing inks in the textiles and paper industries
  • Solvents and thinners for numerous paints, varnishes and lacquers
  • Components in emulsifiable cleaning agents
  • Metal degreasing agents
  • Solvents for the production of wax polishes for furniture, flooring and shoes
